On Dec. 30, Ideal Auto revealed two significant “crack-ups” during the 2022 Guangzhou Auto Show. First, December’s ideal automobile sales will surpass 20,000 units, marking a new milestone. Second, the official launch date for Ideal L7 is February 8. The former reflects Ideal Car’s new stage of growth, while the latter is the most recent design for the company’s first five-seater model.
During the show, Ideal Auto also debuted a new OTA version of its whole lineup of cars. Users of the Ideal L9 and Ideal L8 models will progressively receive the OTA 4.2 update starting on December 30. We saw that the Ideal automobile gained a lot of attention after the Ideal L9 and Ideal L8 debuted at the Guangzhou Auto Show, especially among consumers with families.
Delivery of 20,000 units per month is appropriate to start a new phase of brand development.
The total number of Ideal cars delivered from January through November of this year was 236,101. Since the start of the fourth quarter, Ideal Auto has delivered 10,052 units in October and 15,034 units in November, with November setting a new record for the company’s monthly deliveries.
Unexpectedly, the Ideal Auto broke another record for deliveries in December, with monthly sales close to 20,000 units. From September to November, the Ideal L9 had the highest volume of sales among large SUVs in China. With over 6,000 units delivered in its debut month, the Ideal L8 took second place among medium and large SUVs in terms of monthly sales among new energy SUVs with a price range of 300,000 to 400,000 yuan.
The second vehicle from Ideal Auto, the Ideal L9, went on sale in June of this year for 459,800 yuan. A full-size SUV designed for families, the Ideal L9 measures 5218/1998/1800mm in length, width, and height and has a 3105mm wheelbase. The six-seat arrangement includes 3D comfort sponge, Nappa leather, power adjustability, and seat heating. There are five screens that may interact in three dimensions, including the HUD head-up display system, the safe driving interaction screen, the central control screen, the co-pilot entertainment screen, and the rear cabin entertainment screen.
With the help of a 1.5T four-cylinder range extender, 330 KW of maximum power and 620 N m of maximum torque may be produced. Under CLTC conditions, the combined fuel consumption of the heat and engine is as low as 5.9L/100km, the combined driving range is 1315km, and the pure electric driving range is up to 215km.
With a price range of 359,800 to 399,800 yuan, the Ideal L8 officially went on sale at the end of September. Deliveries started in early November. The Ideal L8, a replacement for the Ideal ONE, has a wheelbase of 3005mm and a larger overall body size. The Ideal L8 maintains a six-seat configuration and is equipped with the same all-wheel extended-range electric system, magic carpet air suspension, and AD Max intelligent driving system as the Ideal L9. The Ideal L8’s design is quite similar to that of the Ideal L9, which likewise employs multi-screen interaction mode and includes a 7.3.4 Dolby Panoramic audio and video system as standard equipment.
With two mid-range and high-end SUVs, Ideal Auto has unquestionably accelerated brand development by achieving monthly deliveries of more over 20,000 vehicles. With the introduction of the Ideal L7 and the Ideal L6, it is anticipated that overall sales of the Ideal auto will reach a new high point.
