Mercedes-Benz Maybach has come to represent excellence, dignity, and success since its storied journey began in 1921 by Wilhelm Maybach and Karl Maybach (father and son). “Everything we manufacture must be the most beautiful and perfect,” the founding tenet, still propels Mercedes-Benz Maybach forward at breakneck speed. It transcends the invisible and illuminates the surroundings through constant exploration and renovation. Since its debut in 2021, demand for the current Mercedes-Benz Maybach S-Class has steadily increased, and it has become well-known among consumers all over the world.

“With the brand’s first plug-in hybrid, we are combining the exclusive Maybach’s luxury experience with zero-emission pure electric driving,” said Daniel Lescow, head of global operations at Mercedes-Benz Maybach, “The Mercedes-Benz Maybach S 580 e plug-in hybrid sedan is an important step toward the century-old luxury brand’s electric future. Maybach will launch its first electric model this year.”

The lightweight sound-absorbing technology, combined with the car body’s noise reduction structure and thickened double glazing of the rear C-pillar triangle window, creates the ultimate quiet interior atmosphere of the Maybach S-Class sedan, while the Maybach S 580 e creates a higher quiet atmosphere with a more impressive luxury and quiet experience.

The quiet cabin of the Maybach S 580 e becomes even quieter in pure electric mode, driving with almost silent pure electricity, creating a sustainable luxury journey with zero emissions and comfortable quite. Maybach’s iconic design is cleverly combined with many electric elements both inside and outside the car body. The elegant style of electricity can be seen in the left side of the car body, the hidden charging port, the blue decoration in the headlamp, and the battery charging status display on the dashboard.

The engine that powers the Maybach S 580 e is the latest Mercedes-fuel-efficient Benz’s in-line six-cylinder engine, which produces a strong 270 kW (367 HP) of power while setting the standard for low fuel consumption and emissions. With a combined power output of up to 375 kW (510 HP) and peak torque of 750 nm, the in-line six-cylinder engine and the most recent Mercedes-Benz fourth generation plug-in hybrid technology work together to provide an exceptional driving experience.

The motor provides a boost at the moment the engine starts, resulting in more instantaneous acceleration and dynamic control, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.1 seconds. Both AC and DC charging are supported by the Maybach S 580 e. The battery can be charged from 0% to 100% in about 30 minutes when using DC fast charging mode, providing an efficient and convenient luxury experience.
